Our Team
John A. Russo
President & CEO
John heads the day-to-day management of the company. John’s involvement
in the housing industry goes back twenty seven years and includes sales,
marketing, finance, and development of residential, commercial and
multifamily real estate in California, Utah, Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico.
He has been directly involved in the renewal of over Six Hundred (600) single
family homes over the past Twenty (20) years in the Inland Empire area of
Southern California. His experience includes everything from total teardown,
new construction, to minimum cosmetic improvements.

John is a graduate of Southern Utah University and currently holds a CCIM
designation. His designation places him in an elite class of appx13,000 real
estate professionals worldwide who hold the CCIM designation. The
Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute recognizes the designation as
being the equivalent to a “PHD” in commercial investment real estate. John
holds a “Life Time Credential” from the State of California Community
Colleges that enables him to teach all subject matters related to Real Estate,
including, but not limited to, Real Estate Law, Real Estate Practices, Real
Estate Principles, and Real Estate Ethics. John has also taught Real Estate
Finance at University of California at Riverside (UCR).  In addition, he
currently holds a California Real Estate Brokers License and is active in the
MRMLS multiple listing service that services both Riverside and San
Bernardino Counties. John also holds a BI General Contractors License and
is currently the RMO for J.A. Russo Enterprises, Inc. Construction Division.
John has owned and operated five (5) real estate franchises, three (3)
mortgage companies, two (2) escrow company and developed several single
family and multifamily projects. John’s experience and expertise in the area of
low and moderate income housing will be instrumental to J. A. Russo
Enterprises, Inc. becoming a leader in its field.
Bob Russo
Marketing Division
Bob has been involved in marketing New Homes over the past 40 years and
has sold in excess of over 6,000 homes. Bob's experience in marketing "New
Housing Tracts" has helped J. A. Russo Enterprises, Inc. become a leader in
its field. Bob is a multi-task individual, and is the sales manager for for Metro
Property Solutions which currently handles all of the marketing for J. A. Russo
Enterprises, Inc.
Lazaro J. Cabrera
​Affordable Housing Consultant
Lazaro “Larry” has over 30 years of real estate experience working in both
public and private sectors in all aspects of affordable housing development.  
In the public sector, Larry was the Housing Development Coordinator for the
City of Anaheim, California and the Single Family Development Manager for
the City of Austin, Texas.  In the private sector, Larry was Partner / Project
Manager for Cedar Pacific, LLC in Riverside, California, Vice President for
Residential Development in Austin, Texas for Griffen Partners and more
recently Director of Affordable Family Housing for Frameworks Community
Development Corporation in Austin, Texas.  Please refer to Larry’s attached
resume which summarizes the vast list of his duties and responsibilities

Mary Ann Epstein
IT and Website Consultant
Mary Ann Epstein,  IT/ Web Consultant has been involved with the Real Estate
Industry as President of REALPRO Innovations, Inc. since 1985. Her
Company provides real estate professionals with tools that allow them to rise
to the top and stay there with current FHA, VA and Conventional loan software
programs. Mary Ann also started ‘Simple Tech Services’ in 2008 which
specializes in training and developing websites and social media platforms
necessary for today’s Real Estate Professional for marketing and building
client relationships. Mary Ann’s other passion is to raise Guide Dog Puppies
for the Blind which often accompany her to industry association events. She
has been involved with industry associations including NAHREP, AREAA,
NAREB, WEREP, etc. since 2006 and is an active member of the Board of
Directors for the NAHREP Inland Empire Chapter.
